Meet our Managing Director
Mr. Wu is the Founder and Managing Director of Thunder Protection Group. Since entering the Queensland security industry in 2016, he has developed extensive experience across commercial security, mobile patrol operations, risk management and protective services.
He holds a Master of Counter Terrorism from Macquarie University, a Master of Cyber Security from The University of Queensland, and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University.
In addition to his university qualifications, Mr. Wu is committed to continuous professional development and has completed specialist policing-related courses through the Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN), including Professionalism and Ethics in Policing, Active Shooter/Armed Intruder Awareness, and Interviewing Suspects.
He regularly participates in industry conferences, professional development programs and ongoing research to ensure Thunder Protection Group remains aligned with evolving security risks, industry standards and best practices.
Mr. Wu remains actively involved in daily operations and believes effective security leadership comes from working alongside frontline officers. His commitment to professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement has helped establish Thunder Protection Group as a trusted provider of tailored security solutions throughout Queensland.
